Research

Working with first responders since 2017, Ashes2A.R.T. has had the opportunity to explore a variety of techniques to decrease cumulative stress and address trauma.   It has become abundantly clear that empirical data would assist in stimulating change within the emergency services departments. The first peer-reviewed article cited Ashes 2A.R.T.’s involvement with first responders during the Covid-19 pandemic. Currently, we are conducting a study with a local university to analyze the physiological effects of three different approaches explored with first responders through our program. We are committed to conducting any research necessary to make a qualitative change to benefit first responders and their families.
